I am having a strange night apparently. I popped in a DVD and it automounted, popped up totem, and then it told me the dvd was inaccessible. I started snooping around online for possible fixes, and then had a duh moment, I had not put libdvdcss on this new install.
Ok, simple enough.. added. Still did not want to work. So I tried installing vlc, since all I wanted was a still from it. No go. Here is the output from VLC when ran in terminal:
[leo ~ ]$sudo pacman -Sy libdvdcss libdvdnav libdvdread

I am confused... Unfotunately it is late, and I need sleep. So I will check back in the morning to take another crack a this problem.
(Woohoo! something to fix. I was starting to wonder when it would break.)

Thanks again, Friend!
It's strange, I used VLC and totem all the time on this computer in Ubuntu, and never had to install regionset... I wonder if it was automatically installed in 7.10 and 8.04.
