I am trying to properly install libdlna and ushare, but have run into some serious snags...
First and foremost is libdlna. When trying to compile 0.2.3 from AUR, I get the following output:
==> Making package: libdlna 0.2.3-3 i686 (Thu Aug 14 14:57:20 EDT 2008)

See file "config.log" produced by configure for more details.

Aborting...
Yes, I do have ffmpeg isntalled. And yes, libavformat does exist! I have even tried using the --with-ffmpeg-dir config flag. The most troublesome thing, however, is that config.mak simply does not exist!
I tried to install uShare without libdlna and ran into further problems... I think that these can be fixed using some of the information in this thread: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=45035. However, the libdlna solution posted in that thread will not work because config.mak doesn't exist! Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I tried using twonky media server instead, but hit a major road block there as well. Simply cannot get the damn thing to work. I'll give it one more try, but if anyone has any tips on how they got it to work, I would greatly appreciated it!
Sweet zombie jesus!

I'm bringing this thread back, I have the same problem... any help?

It can't find FFmpeg because all it's header files were moved. avformat.h is in /usr/include/libavformat/ and not /usr/include/ffmpeg. Check out Snowman's response here:
