Hotplug lockup

Hi. Somehow, in the last updates that I did, hotplug now locks up bad my archlinux instalation. I used to get informative messages and now I get nothing and can't do a thing. No keyboard, no mouse, nothing. Is anyone having the same problem and knows how to get around this?

Thanks, Joao.

Re: Hotplug lockup

try using a bootable rescue disc (such as the arch install cd) to mount your drive and get access to your logs (/var/log/kernel, /var/log/messages, any files in /var/log/hotplug/) ... you can copy them to a floppy, or maybe a windows partition or something, and post them here. it might help us diagnose the problem.

Re: Hotplug lockup

Well could't find anything about hotplug in /var/log but I remembered to try to uninstall nforce pkg, and now hotplug starts fine. I thinks there's some sort of incompatibility issue here. I think I might submit a bug.
