epsxe elfclass errors

I installed epsxe 1.6.0 from AUR onto an Arch64 system. unfortunately, epsxe will not start and keeps giving me the error: "./epsxe: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64"

I've installed gtk, gtk2, lib32-gtk, etc. and it's still giving me this error. How do i get it to work? Thanks.

Check to see if your have /opt/lib32 in /etc/ld.so.conf. If you don't, add it then run ldconfig as root.
