Is Archlinux possible on the Freerunner phone?

The freerunner is running linux, but can it run archlinux? It runs debian, it should work with arch?

Most likely it will work. However, it probably will need a custom kernel.

The kernel openmoko uses is, yes, a vanilla edition. I will look into to this, if this is possible i will make this my mission in life haha.
Im downloading some rootimages to take them appart and look at the init scripts etc.

I thought the Freerunner was an ARM CPU which last i checked was not supported by Arch....but i dunno hmm

Indeed its an ARM cpu, SoC. Yes, there is no *.iso for me to download there for Arch doesnt "support" it. I would have to recompile it with bitbake and openembedded, but this should be doable.
