Macbook and speakers sound quality

I bought a Macbook last december 2.2Ghz white one, everything fine but the only thing I miss is why I cant have the same sound quality as in macos? Is it a general problem under linux or its just my alsa config? How good your macbook sounds compared to macos?

Here is my /etc/modprobe.conf

options snd-hda-intel model=mbp3 position_fix=2 probe_mask=1

same problem here, with ubuntu problem disappear when i activated the surround channel but with arch i can't seem to have a surround channel? how can i have this channel? does anyone knows a fix for this?
