double start for gnome[SOLVED]

Hi all, I'm sorry to post again.
I've installed gnome, deleting kdemod4. I'm just finishing cfiguration. I've noticed that if I turn on pc, when gnome starts, all desktop icons and wallpaper are absent, I can't see them. If I logout and login again, all works fine. What could I do? where should I check errors?
thanks in advance

Try looking in /var/log/Xorg.0.log and/or /var/log/gdm/:0.log.

Re: double start for gnome[SOLVED]

thanks, it was unable to load module type1!
it was in XF86.conf file, maybe when I installed synaptics driver i left that row. I've deleted that line and now it's working fine.

Thanks
