Weird data copy problem !

I have a RMAed Seagate SATA 160GB HDD in which there is a video file of 700MB.

I was trying to copy it to another Seagate SATA 160GB HDD. But then it always stops at 226MB and says Input/output error. HDD makes a kirk sound when the copying stops are 226MB.

Though I am able to view the whole video in any video player but cant copy it to another place sad.

I tried to fsck the partition but it said that everything is fine.

Please somebody help me as I don't want to loose that video. And should I convert the partition from ext3 to JFS ?

Sounds like a bad sector on your hard drive to me.  You probably get a small skip somewhere in the video that you don't notice.  I'm not sure the best way to recover it.
