http://www.google.com I know what you're all thinking! you're all like "yeah....duh. it's google." I learned linux mostly by googling what ever I was curious about. I also found that many of the books on linux availible for purchase at many popular bookstores have websites to FREE, downloadable or online, versions of the same books. for example "Linux Kernel in a Nutshell" written byGreg Kroah-Hartman (a book normally retailing at $30-40 USD) is availible for free in it's entirety from the following website: http://www.kroah.com/lkn/
Linux is like Knowledge, It's free, it doesn't take that much work to get it. and still the majority of the population doesn't have it.
Hofstadter's Law:
It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
