I solved this by starting compiz with compiz-manager --replace(nust install compiz-manager)
Hi, i want to make compiz start in my arch(compiz it worked on this laptop under Ubuntu so is not an hardware problem, compiz can run on my laptop
I have a ATI card and i am using the open source driver(that worked in ubuntu with compiz, my card is not compatible with the binary driver from ATI catalyst).
This is the error message i get:
