Hi,
I was wondering if anyone notice their mozilla-firefox unable to view their saved password thru the preferences in mozilla-firefox. I can view saved password with mozilla-firefox, but after a few days of use, I cant seem to be able to view it again.
For me, when i click on the view saved password, it does nothing, and I cant seem to clear the save passwords either. In order for me to clear the password, i hav to reinstall firefox again.
This isnt really a problem, but i was curious since i never experience this b4. All other options in preference works, except the clear or view the save password.
thanks

Indeed you're right... I'm experiencing the very same problem with my mozilla-firefox, just as you described I can't view nor clear stored passwords. I wonder if this is a known issue.

I had the same problem starting in 0.9.1 and it persisted into 0.9.3 as well. I remember that if I ran Firefox as root it worked fine, I'm guessing because it used a different profile. I don't remember if I tried removing and recreating my user's Firefox profile, but reinstalling and removing Firefox from my home directory in the process did cure the problem.
Unfortunately I hosed my Arch install before it came back, so I don't know if it would have reoccured. I don't currently have X installed in Arch either, so I can't examine the issue at all for the moment.

Just noticed the same problem on mine yesterday, thought I cleared everything but the passwords are still there and I can't look at them.

I used pacman too
Has anyone had the problem start with a fresh install of 0.9.3, or has everyone had the problem start with 0.9.1 or earlier?

Also note,
I notice that after I installed mozilla-firefox, and then go to file and import, it seems the page is blank but it has back, next, cancel buttons.
Anyone else also experience this too?
It would probably be better if i try to install firefox from the original mozila.org site, to get rid of all this bug but im not sure where to install or how to go about it so that it integrates well with archlinux and j2re.

Same problem. I used pacman on a fresh install of 0.9.3. So it's not because of 0.9.1....
