FYI, there's a prebuilt virtualbox in the archlinuxfr repository. It's what I use.

I've been using virtualbox (package is called virtualbox-bin, from archlinuxfr repo) for
sometime in Arch64 with no problems.

Make your own virtualization software goddamn it!

Thanks go it installed but having issues for some reason, when ever i install an OS it all goes well until i go to boot into it, errors are something about cannot write to partition ( illl check properly when i get home)then on second reboot in VB i get a little screen that says respawning and it just hangs there and i have to kill it.

Running VB in Arch64 shouldn't be a problem - I have used it for the last year or so (now I have however changed to kvm/qemu). When I used it, I always installed it from archlinuxfr.
Couple of things to look out for:
1. make sure you are member of the vboxgroup (I don't remember the name right now, but you should be prompted about it when you install).
2. Do you have write permissions on the partition where the virtual machine is running?
3. It used to be that VB (1.6.x and 2.0) could not handle xorg-server 1.5 (in testing right now), i.e. there were problems with mouse-grabbing etc.

I installed VirtualBox using the installer for all distributions from VirtualBox homepage. Works absolutely flawless!
