Please update vlc
Don't know if this the right place- but could you please update vlc to 0.9.2 with new ffmpeg codecs?

1) We already have a thread like this.
2) Give the developers some time, they are busy with bugs and stuff.
3) Compile it from source.

in addition to point 2): This could take some time because at the moment noone is maintaining that package. :-) But smplayer might be a good choice.

Thanks for your answers, I've already built my own PKGBUILD, but don't know how to integrate new ffmpeg codecs. I don't want to be impatient, just a friendly proposition :-)
