Choppy video

Hi,
I'm running KDE4 and Firefox3 at the moment. Lately I've found that video clips on Cnn.com and other news outlets is very choppy both in video and sound.  In contrast, videos on Youtube or liveleak play fine.  I tried running Firefox3 using E17 to see if it was caused by KDE4 but it's the same under E17.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Choppy video

Everything's working fine here in E17 with Flash RC2.

Re: Choppy video

I have flashplugin 9.0.124.0-1 installed. Is that RC2??  If not, where do I get and what release number is RC2?

Thanks

You may or may not have problems with Curl. It was necessary before to symlink it (boooo, boooo), but donvla is reporting on the AUR page that it isn't now.

Re: Choppy video

Thanks for the suggestion Skottish. I tried it but the problem persists. Frustrating.

Thanks
