PLease help i scrwed something

Ok well i went to update and it said it had dependency problems so i unistalled libgnomecanvas and no i can abrely start any programs, only the couple in the ss will open and all the icons are just x's...  I'm running xfce and would like to get my desktop back to working lol.  I tried to reinstall libgnom canvas but it says it needs to remove gtk2 to do it and i can't because so many thing depend on that.

run "testdb" command and say if complains about missing dependency

ok i ran it and it did complain about a couple and i installed all of them but libgnomecanvas because it will not let me due to like a million things depending on it and installing the others didn't change any state.

remove gtk2 with pacman -Rd
install extra/gtk2 extra/gail and extra/libgnomecanvas

we need to wait for the new gnome version to hit the repos before updating gtk2

pacman -S extra/gtk2 extra/gail extra/libgnomecanvas

ok well that solved the problem of all the icons showing up as x's but gnome-terminal or epiphany or anything still won't start

edit: wow im retarded haha i guessi uninstalled them by accident in the process...lol
