hi....
i've been using pcmanfm with fluxbox for about 4 months, with absolutely no problems. when i installed it, i right clicked on the titlebar for the menu in pcmanfm, and set it to remember the current size and position on close. this worked brilliantly, until i accidently resized bigger than the screen!!!
basically, i run my crt monitor and tv as seperate x server with the nvidia drivers, so as i dragged the corner of pcmanfm and slipped onto the 2nd screen, the mouse swapped over fine, but applications cant cross or span the screens, so pcmanfm immediately crashed, and in doing so remembered its size and position, which caused it to crash in the 1st place!!
so now i am stuck in a loop i cant fix!!! i open pcmanfm, only for it expand to the size, so it then crashes and terminates itself!!
how do i go about fixing this???
thanks

delete the pcmanfm entry from ~/.fluxbox/apps
archlinux - please read this and this — twice — then ask questions.

Have a look at ~/.config/pcmanfm

Delete it's settings. Give it amnesia so it can't remember how big it is

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...
