just have a look... compared to opera it looks plain ugly.. and suggestions how to change this?

which version of firefox are you using? I'm using right now firefox-optimized from AUR, and my fonts are smooth as you opera ones.

To be honest i prefer the Firefox fonts in your screenshot, the opera fonts looks to blury and washed out. But did you look in your preferences > content > advanced settings and choose the same fonts as opera uses.

I have set it up exactly the same way as opera...

Alright.. i simply denied websites to use their own fonts and set all to "Bitstream Vera Sans"
Now it looks much better!

I'd guess that Opera has a "DPI" setting, which is set slightly wrong for you.
