Picas is a great program, and the integrated web albums are one of its best features.

I feel like such a google fan boy...

FYI: Picasa for linux had the wine libs integrated (you probably already know that).

Last time I checked, the Linux client doesn't have the PicasaWeb connectivity... unless it was changed recently

I don't get it. Google has been releasing much Open-source software (Eg. Android & Chrome), how come they haven't made Picasa Open-source yet? Beats me...

For me, Picasa 3 (beta) for windows works fine under wine, webalbums feature included... no need to wait for their own wrap.
