lm_sensors can't be installed?

I tried to install lm_sensors from pacman tonight with the following error:

[root@protium deepfreeze]# pacman -Sy lm_sensors
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 current.db.tar.gz [#################################] 100% | 32K
 unofficial.db.tar.gz [#################################] 100% | 56K
 nstable.db.tar.gz [#################################] 100% | 0K
error: unresolvable conflicts/dependencies:
i2c: requires kernel=2.4.20 but it is not in the sync db
lm_sensors: requires kernel=2.4.20 but it is not in the sync db

Targets:
[root@protium deepfreeze]#

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the package or with the kernel but I figured I'd ask it in this section...what's wrong?

My hovercraft is full of eels.

Re: lm_sensors can't be installed?

it seems as those depend and probably lm_sensors will have to be recompiled with the new kernel install wink

Re: lm_sensors can't be installed?

At this moment both I2C and lm_sensors can be found on any of the ftp's.

A bug, a feature ?!?

A bug? No, it's a new feature that I've just implemented. I've called it "updating a package without  putting it on the ftp server".

Anyway, this feature is now fixed wink
