I have a Dell Vostro 1500 with a Intel GMA x3100. I seem to be having some problems with my xorg.conf setup. It fails to load sometimes but loads other times. I was wondering if anyone could look at my xorg.conf and let me know what I could change to get a more stable setup. This is x86_64 if that matters:
Thanks

I see nothing wrong with that with my limited understanding, but the Device section could use a little cosmetic clean up IIRC - I can't remember exactly what but I think some of the things you have uncommented aren't used.
It fails to load sometimes but loads other times.
Could you please elaborate on that? More for the sake of others than myself but meh

Windows was made for looking at success from a distance through a wall of oversimplicity. Linux removes the wall, so you can just walk up to success and make it your own.

I don't know how to explain just seems like everyother time when I start my laptop gdm fails to come up saying that my x configuration fails then when I reboot it seems to work ok.
Here is my xorg.log:
Thanks

That config file looks suspiciously like it came from when X started up okay. Could you post one from when X failed?

I also see you're running AIGLX on something Intel i915-based, and highly recommend you disable AIGLX/compositing.
If disabling composite support doesn't help, I also recommend you try a minimal windowmanager-based configuration that doesn't use GDM, as this will likely help you track down whatever error(s) are causing X to function unreliably.
