Alsa & amixer delay

Hi everyone maybe someone can help. I have a M2N-E motherboard (don't remember the sound card it has) the problem is that when I run a command like this "amixer sset 'Speaker',1 5%-" it's take a couple of secs to run. And all the different controllers of the Speaker group end up with different increments. The worst is that if I run it a few times ( that's the command binded to my keyboard key) it's get really nasty and it starts raising and decreasing the volume continuesly.  Did someone had the same problem?

I really don't know how to overcome this!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Alsa & amixer delay

i dont know, but i have this command as a keybinding, hope it helps

amixer -q set PCM 20+
amixer -q set PCM 20-

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Re: Alsa & amixer delay

It doesn't work. The PCM "controler" moves, but it makes no difference in the "master volume"
