Howdy everyone,
Today I decided to log into KDEmod3 (version 3.5.10) after not using KDE in a while (I use a bunch of different WMs). I logged in to discover all of the menu entries in KMenu were gone. Is there any way to get them back? Thanks!

It's been a loooooong time...
Try running 'update-menus' from a terminal.

Thanks for the reply. When "update-menus" is run, I get command not found. I searched the pacman repos and ABS with no luck. I do have the FAM daemon running, FYI.

I had the same problem after playing with WMs and xfce4-panel and/or perlpanel.
What I did was to delete .kde in my home directory and then restore my backup copy of .kde.
This might work even if you don't have a backup of .kde, just make sure you make a copy of your current version of .kde in case you are desparate enough to try it.
I'm sure there is a better solution, but that worked for me.

I confirm the same problem here with kdemod kde3.5.10 repo.No kde menu entries and nothing in kcontrol.
