options array contains unknown option '!emptydir' [solved]

I'm using yaourt to install a couple packages from unsupported, so a makepkg is part of it.  The package I'm stuck on is perl-storable.

I get a complaint that       options array contains unknown option '!emptydir'

The original PKGBUILD has 'noemptydirs', which doesn't work, and there's a comment that it should be the above, which doesn't work either.  I don't know what this item does, or what it should be set at to get the package to build.  Anyone run into this?

The option should be "!emptydirs"
