Arch Have a Netinstall?

I am looking to install Arch however I was wondering if there is a Netinstall option which is basically similar to Debian's? Its a small 100+ MB .ISO that has bare essentials and then installs everything else off the web so there are no outdate packages and even better you only get applications / dependencies of things you want.

Re: Arch Have a Netinstall?

I am walking through the install and it tells me that consoles 1-4 are active if I need to load my Ethernet modules manually. I then switched to a new console and logged in as root and ran "dhclient" and that does not appear to be loaded. How do I force this laptop to obtain the IP address from the DHCP server?

Re: Arch Have a Netinstall?

dhcpcd is default.
Have a look at the Beginners' Guide.

Re: Arch Have a Netinstall?

I think

dhcpcd <interface>

is what you're looking for.
