gnome randomly restarts
hi, i'm facing the below problem. Sometimes while i'm working on my desktop the gnome randomly restarts without a reason i searced for a solution but until now i didn't find anything. Does anyone knows why is this happening. Also i'm wondering if it is a x-server problem. thank you in advance...:)

i examined the /var/log/daemon.log.1 file and i saw something like that
Oct 7 21:20:31 server gdm-binary[3184]: WARNING: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0
does anyone know something about it....
