For item number 1, it seems the symbolic link from /sbin/udevadm has
been removed (please sea http://bugs.gentoo.org/236481 for details).
For item number 2, I would appreciate it if you could help me solve the
problem.
Thanks in advance.

Re: scim crashes
I had been adding these lines to my .xinitrc, but after the upgrade
whenever I launched a program (rox, geany, emelfm2, etc), it loaded
very slow and then crashed. What's more, my desktop then became
totally black without the wallpaper.
export XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM
export GTK_IM_MODULE="scim"
export QT_IM_MODULE="scim"
scim -d
I have compiled scim, but the new package crashes as well.
Any help would be appreciated!

I have tried to downgrade klibc and relevant packages without success
because of dependency. Can I force the downgrade or shall I remove
those new packages first and then install the old ones (I have not
cleared the cache)?

Have the same problem here with udevsettle,
but except from the messages at startup it seems that everything is working ok.
Dont know if i have to do something about it or just leave it that way???
