Re: kde 3.3.0-2 available please test it

the packages are only a rebuild with new gcc
new xorg and new qt

this problems does exist in kde 3.3-1 too?
what you think of menu entries?
for me everything is there

try it with a new test user which has not run kde at all
and look if it works there if yes then you have a problem with your old kde files in yourhome/.kde

thanks i'm waiting for your answer

try it with a new test user which has not run kde at all

I deleted my confutarion (.kde, .qt, .moc etc), but it doesn't help.

In my case the menu (and the control panel) is there, but I can't modify it (add icon, add new item) . After hitting save, it says "Updating configuration"  but the menu stays the same. Reloging doesn't help. I still use kde 3.3-1. I might try kde3.3-2 later this week. I   am a little hesitant as I had lots of problems upgrading to kde 3.3 and my system is fine (except for the menu).

I'm nvidia user (xorg upgraded my libGL, i haven't reinstalled nvidia yet).

To produce problem... I installed qt 3.3.3-2 and xorg-6.8.0-2 and I has begun...

Menu and "modules" in kcontrol vanished (they're empty).

I can make screenshots if it will be helpfull.

Re: kde 3.3.0-2 available please test it

Reproducing error:
I upgraded to kde 3.3 on the 27th of Aug. Therefore, the packages upgraded after that date (gcc, qt, xorg, etc) are not likely to cause the kde problems.

Solution for menu problems is in anotrher topic.

I don't have libstdc++ problem now when I'm compilling kadu (polish instant massanger, based on qt).

I think that this packages should be available for pacman.
