If you use this mirror change your pacman mirrorlist file to new url.

Back again and synced. There were hardware probs on the array, so it's possible that the mirror goes away again. They will complete fix it in the next few days.

I noticed this (with some other mirrors too) also since yesterday. On mirrorservice.org i get a hint about
an advised maintaince downtime or capacity problem.
Most of such things are temporary problems (could be on mirror site infrastructure or general routing
problem). Cause since yesterday i notice this with some other mirrors worldwide i assume a routing
problem.
These go away mostly in 1 or 2 days. Meanwhile you could try updating (-Sy) some more times or
switch you mirror. mirrorservice.org for example is not totally unreachable.

I switch to the heanet mirror (Ireland), or failing that Belnet, so its not the end of the world.
It's not like I have an irrational compulsion to -Syu every few hours or so, honest.
