I'm trying to get a USB to parallel port adaptor working (for a parallel port printer). When I plug the adaptor into the workstation dmesg prints out
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usb 2-1: config 1 has an invalid descriptor of length 26, skipping remainder of the config
usb 2-1: config 1 interface 0 has no altsetting 0
No /dev/usb/lp0 or /dev/usblp0 is created so I assume it isn't in a working state. Any ideas on how to gather more info. about where the problem may lie? Thanks!
