Did you ever try to rebuild de VirtualBox kernel module (vbox_build_module as root) ?

Same problem here. Looks like Kernel-headers package is yet to get updated to 2.6.27, and that is screwing up Virtualbox.
Besides vbox_build_module seems to only be in virtualbox_bin package in AUR. The community packages don't have the option to recompile the module.

Hi all,
I also got the same error, I already tried vbox_build_module as root and get an error too..

Installed virtualbox_bin from AUR and the problem went away

Hi!
anybody knows how to fix this in OSE version?
I have rebuilt virtualbox-ose and virtualbox-modules from ABS as it states on ArchWiki but it does not help.
Thanks

Hi
There is already an updated version of virtualbox-modules [2.0.2-3] for the new kernel 2.6.27
But there is an error in the package. The upgrade installs the driver in /lib/modules/2.2.26-ARCH instead of /lib/modules/2.2.27-ARCH
So I run
cp /lib/modules/2.2.26-ARCH/misc /lib/modules/2.2.27-ARCH
I logged out and restart the pc.
At the first boot , it complained that vboxdrv was not install [vboxdrv is in the modules in /etc/rc.conf].
I run
modprobe vboxdrv
And then I could run vitrtualbox

See the hint from Inferno: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=51820
I have changed the sources of my old vbox installation (1.6.4 from AUR) according to his suggestion, then recompiled modules with vbox_build_module and my vbox works again. The files to be changed are /opt/virtualbox/src/SUPDRV.h and /opt/virtualbox/src/linux/SUPDrv-linux.c

I've purged all the virtualbox setup files and then Installed virtualbox_bin from AUR, and it works apart from a warning about usb drives but I can live with that for now.:)
