Suspend in GDM

Hi Guys,

i have a problem with GDM. If I want to suspend my notebook via System -> Shutdown -> Suspend to Ram in Gnome it just locks the workstation. But if I use pm-suspend as root it works like a charm. Do I have to configure GDM to use pm-utils? Or do I lack some rights?? I'm member of the following groups: wheel network video audio storage power users.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Suspend in GDM

Ok i solved it!

I had to reboot after adding myself to power to make it work... Logout/Login wasn't enough.

Feeling like on Windows oO
