Firefox in GNOME is nice - it uses the GNOME application menu for Open With. Even in Windows, it's okay - Open With calls up a list of (recently?) used applications to pick from. But in Linux without GNOME, I get the evil file browser to select apps. The best shortcut is a directory of symlinks to commonly-used apps for fast selection.
Is there any way to make Firefox use PyPanel (or another) menu for Open With? Or, failing that, a way of having a 'recently used'-type menu?
I've seen a few solutions that _force_ Firefox to always open a certain type of file with a certain app - I don't want that, I'd like a choice
Thanks!
