I want to run F@H on my laptop but have it automatically shut off when running on battery power and restart on AC plugin. The only information I've found so far is from an Ubuntu wiki:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FoldingAtHome#Battery
I'm not particularly saavy at things like this, and I don't see how that information translates to Arch, since I don't have any of those directories. Do I need to run an acpi/acpid daemon? Create some scripts? Help, please.

pacman -S acpi, run acpi_listen and (un)plug your cable to see what events it generates, create files in /etc/acpi/events/ following the syntax of /etc/acpi/events/anything, but putting those AC events and commands starting/stopping F@H there, start "acpid" daemon and add it to rc.conf.
-edit-
Caveat: running F@H while on AC with your battery plugged in may have adverse effect on your battery life.
