Hi! I have been reading through on how ABS works.. and Im thinking of using it for my arch system after I do a clean install.. I just have a few questions.. first.. should I install everything first like my Xorg... sound.. Window manager.. etc THEN install ABS? Or do ABS from the start and build from there.. Secondly.. if I build... lets say Conky on user "zack" and I have 2 other users "ben" and "nick" do I have to build conky on those users as well for them to use conky?

I think it's better to install just the basics and then compile other things, though I see no reason to do so (compile everything).
ABS will create a pacman package, then you'll install it as root, so all users will be capable of running it.

As andre said, ABS just lets you quickly sync up PKGBUILDs and build binaries tailored for your system. The user is irrelevant - the pkg.tar.gz is compiled for the system.
As far as compiling everything from source, it's completely up to you. Personally I don't think it's worth the time and effort, aside from custom patches and AUR packages. If you really want to build everything from source a la gentoo/crux, you might consider using pacbuilder:

- Pacbuilder AUR

I'm sorry if I misunderstood you, but you want to install cairo? You only have to run 'pacman -S cairo'.
Have you read the wiki page about ABS?

Yeah I did read the wiki page but um.. I went to cairo.com and they said I had to download 3 PKbuilds from AUR in order to install cairo.. So Im assuming there isnt any prebuilt package for Cairo..

I don't really know what you mean.. I assumed you meant cairo graphics, but cairo.com? If you're referring to cairo graphics:
$ pacman -Ss cairo
extra/cairo 1.6.4-1
Cairo vector graphics library
...
