udevinfo? how can i install it?

i try to change my esata disc from /dev/sdx1 to /dev/backup_x

but for this i need informations about it. but with udevinfo or udevmonitor i get always "command not found".
so what can i do? i ran the 64bit version of arch..

These tools have been replaced with udevadm

However, it's probably best to NOT do what you described above. I would suggest labeling the partitions and used /dev/disk/by-label/

hm.. the problem was, first i used uuid, but this is too long... i never used labels.. perhaps you are right and this is an better solvation. i will try it... thanks...
