clean kde4 desktop, bespin style. The clock on the wall in the cafe, the cup in the right side and the poster in the shop window are all plasmoids.
Your plasmoid positioning is very nice. Good job.

ZOMG Epic fail on my part. Thanks though
EDIT: The second one doesn't work. Devianart won't give me the larger version.
Dang, I like that one more Mind uploading it somewhere ?
EDIT2: I'm not going to delete the first edit. I had noscript and didn't allow devianart. I'm failing epically...

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

i would appreciate when someone could help me with multimedia keys in awesome3. in awesome2, it was enough to just add XF86AudioRaiseVolume as a keybindig key with amixer command, but in 3 it doesn't work anymore...
-- Volume keybinding({ }, "XF86AudioRaiseVolume", function () awful.spawn("amixer -q set PCM 5%+ unmute") end):add() keybinding({ }, "XF86AudioLowerVolume", function () awful.spawn("amixer -q set PCM 5%- unmute") end):add() keybinding({ }, "XF86AudioMute", function () awful.spawn("amixer -q set Master toggle") end):add()
@phisphere, I don't know If you have already solved it, but I have found this
--{{{ Fn keys
keybinding( {none}, "XF86AudioMute", function () awful.spawn("amixer -c 0 set Master toggle") end):add()
keybinding( {none}, "XF86AudioRaiseVolume", function () awful.spawn("amixset +") end):add()
keybinding( {none}, "XF86AudioLowerVolume", function () awful.spawn("amixset -") end):add()
in Wolgri conf here http://github.com/wolgri/wolgri.config/ … ome/rc.lua (thank you for share it, Wolgri)
I don't have checked it, but maybe it helps you
Now, my screenshot. This is my first awesome 3 setup. Very basic

How did you get conky to darken the background? Is it part of your background or is it in the .conkyrc?

You won't be doing much functional programming configuring XMonad, you know.
What does not kill you will hurt a lot.

hehe okay I see, i'll try Haskell anyway but I was really wondering about whether XMonad offers much over Awesome or not.
