alsaconf

It seems that in order to get my sound working i have to run alsaconf every time I boot up and login.  Does anyone know what I have to do so that I don't have to keep running alsaconf every time I boot up?

Re: alsaconf

Here's the suggested wiki entry:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Alsa%20setup

That got me up and running just fine aside from the kde part, which has changed a little since the wiki was written I'd guess.

Using any other windows manager, that entry should be all you need.

Help.
