Hello. I started using mpd + ncmpcpp + mpc(for fast keybindings) about a month ago and i am loveing it. But lately i have been demanded to use .cue sheets files. at times which mpd was yet unknown to me i would use wine with foobar, i didn't like amarok one bit (it's cue sheet support is lame, and bloddy slow, and bloddy ugly, and maybe no sweet keybindings ,i dunno how it is now thou) so i prefered foobar's simplicity. However since i loved, still do, mpd, i searched for something that made mpd support cue files. I found mpd-cue on AUR. The only problem is that i am clueless how to use it.
Any tip is welcome. Thanks in advance !!!!

simply copy directory with cue+ape (cue+flac) where your`s music directory pointed from mpd.conf is
from mpc you can navigate to this dir and add to playlist ![]()
after compilation mpd-cue works fine

i'm using mpd-git from AUR, compiled with --enable-cue, libcue installed, but mpd still not read title and artist from .cue . maybe i dont know how to enable this option... (.cue files are ok - working ok in amarok)

mpd only supports embedded cue sheets yet... you can use cuetools to create those...

I've tried mpd-cue. But it can't play to ICE1724 (ESI Juli@) device. It says, that device doesn't support 16-bit audio.
Can someone help me with this?
