Beginner's Guide specific for eeepc 701 ?

Hello, I'm new here (few months experience with ubuntu, and new to Arch).
I'm trying to install arch to my eeepc701. The beginner's guide to arch is a great documentation, but I'm still confuse on what to choose during the package selecting step (fine tune part). Last time, I let the default, and after reboot, my eeepc didn't recognize internet connection (I'm using ADSL connection, cable plugged into eeepc).
Is there any documentation for installation to eeepc 701 in step by step explanation?
I choose arch linux because i read that arch is a good distro for learning linux, and fast for booting the eeepc. Pls help & thanks.

Hello there:

A quick advice. When using the core install cd, don't worry at the package selection. Just ensure to pick the correct categories. In order to make the 701 work the way it should, pick base-devel (to compile stuff --- in particular, madwifi). atl2 is the package for your wired card and... well, make sure you pick wireless_tools (I don't know why it isn't included in base...) and rp-pppoe.

first, thanks for the quick advice. I'll try that at home tonight. Btw, should I repeat again the base installation procedure to reach that part? How do I check from within arch which packages I've installed?
