mplayer and spaces in gnome

Hello everyone, I got a little issue with mplayer and files with spaces in the name, when I open a movie with a name containing spaces, mplayer says I can't open the file but when I rename it, no problem at all. I had  gnome 2.22 installed and I don't want to use totem to see my movies, I just want mplayer to open any file, with spaces or not in nautilus..

Re: mplayer and spaces in gnome

edit /usr/share/applications/mplayer.desktop and modify the line

Exec=gmplayer %U
in
Exec=gmplayer %F

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
