[OpenOffice 3] themes and extensions

Hi all,

I have experienced several problems since the latest upgrade to OpenOffice 3.
I use KDEmod3 as DE.

1. I have read that with the version 3, one have to declare the OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP = gnome environment variable in .bashrc instead of
OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP = kde, which i did. The problem is that now, the UI just looks plain ugly (i've never installed any GTK theme on my own).
I have enabled the option to use the KDE theme with GTK apps in kcontrol but it doesn't work.
Do i have to install some GTK theme manually ?

2. I have also read that OOo now uses an extensions system for dictionnaries and stuff. For some reason, they won't work.
Here is what i did :
- go to tools-> extension manager; clicking the "get more extensions" link won't work.
- [...] EDIT : solved (special note on the wiki for french dictionnary)

Thanks for your answers.
Cheers
Ed
