I started installing Arch around 8pm last night and it's almost 7am now and I still don't have a working system. My xorg.conf file is screwed up, my screen resolution is in the freaken 500x300's, no sound, my wifi don't work. Nothing works. I've read through every wiki out there and they're no help to me. Can someone please help me get this solved? I'm thinking I should just give up and leave it alone as I'm at my witends with this.

How did you setup xorg?
Did you do "pacman -S hwd"
and then "hwd -xa" (as root ofcourse).
Post your xorg file here.

I can not post my xorg file here as I'm on another computer because I can't get it working right. I don't even have a clue what I did to even get to where I am. I really need someone in my area to meet up and help me, I SUCK at online wikis and stuff.
I'm going to go to sleep and start completely over tomorrow. I know I can get through the partitioning and all, but after that I'm f***ing lost.

We need lots and lots of info to help you out.
Post the output of:
#hwd -e
If hwd is not found:
#pacman -Sy hwd

Nothing works.
That means absolutely nothing.
We can't help you if that's all the information you provide. We need EXACT error messages, config files, output, and a description of the symptoms would help too.
If you can't copy paste, then there's paper.

Anything else? My wifi is detected, just doesn't connect.

Add your preferred resolution to that Modes line next to Depth 24, or comment out that line altogether. Check with alsamixer that your sound output simply isn't muted.

I did that and it's still in 640x400 resolution.

ok, the resolution is good now. Now how do I enable sound and fix my wifi.
Is there anyway to copy the output of netcfg-auto-wireless wlan0 so you know what errors i get? It detects my card just doesnt connect.
