2.6.27 new Nvidia 177.80 , Frozen Laptop with No X errors

My Dell M65 with Quadro FX 350 m   freezes on X startup with the new kernel and nvidia drivers.

Heres the nvidia bug report ,  I don't find any EE errors in the Xorg.log.0 (see the bug report)

try booting with pci=nommconfig on the kernel line and see if that helps
