soundconverter complains about missing rights - even as root

hi,
i have a strange error with soundconverter from the aur.
it is probably an underlying problem but i have this bug with the current version 1.4 as well as the old one 1.3.2 (or something like that) on two different pcs.

If i try to convert some piece of music (mp3 or ogg) to something else soundconverter complains about missing read/write permissions.

error: Konnte die Ressource nicht zum Lesen öffnen. (foo.mp3)
Zugriffsrechte für 'foo.wav' können nicht gesetzt werden.
-
error: could not open ressource to read(foo.mp3)
Can not set permission for "foo.wav"

i get this error message even when i open soundconverter as root via sudo
i don't know when this problem first occured but soundconverter definatly worked on both pcs at some point not too long ago

anyone got suggestions?

thx

Maybe your file didn't exist anymore but the filesystem didn't get updated ? (something to do with inode if I rember right)
