$ zcat /proc/config.gz | grep IRQBALANCE
CONFIG_IRQBALANCE=y
Default Arch kernel has (from 2.6.27?) irq balance enabled, which is bad, as powertop says. Please disable it!

It's probably enabled for a reason. If it gives you trouble, you can always disable it from within your boot loader's configuration .

I've searched for it, but couldn't find it.
How can I disable it on kernel command line?

Add 'noirqbalance' (w/o the quotes) to your kernel cmd-line.

I think, that worked. Thanks!

A bug has been filed for this -> http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/11791
Maybe powertop was right...

I added noirqbalance to kernel boot parameter in menu.lst but powertop always suggests to disable it.
This is my menu.lst entry:
# (0) Arch Linux
title Arch Linux
root (hd0,2)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/disk/by-uuid/241459a4-d4b5-42cf-a30f-4c6bc0120d1d resume=/dev/sda5 ro vga=792 noirqbalance quiet
initrd /boot/kernel26.img
