No Sound Vostro 1400 alsa installed [SOLVED]

I am making progress, but I have no video or sound

The Distro looks great.  I was able to get wireless working manually, but still not sound.  The sound card is an Intel ICH8 audio

Thanks for any help.

I just run alsaconf and it detected my card and configured the sound.

I just need flash to work now.  I am thinking about removing firefox and putting opera

Does your soundcard show up in lspci?

Yes,

it is an Intel ICH8

I just need flash and audio and my Arch Distro will be ready.
