Oh I kinda forgot that we were really talking about windows users. Anyone knows a good host where I can put it?
I heard that /dev/null offers unlimited storage ;ppp

No one really knows what happens inside /dev/null
It could be a gateway to another universe....
The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

If it is, the people who live there must be getting pretty annoyed by now with all the junk we send them.

They probably just pass it on...
cat /dev/stdin > /dev/null

_______/ \______________

| cat /dev/stdin > /dev/null |

That's why they don't react to `echo Hello guys from the other universe > /dev/null`
They stopped listening ages ago...

You know you're paranoid when you start thinking random letters while typing a password.
A good post about vim

Ok, here is now the Firefox addon to have a better Archlinux is the best!'s web 4.0 experience.
It's provide a contextual menu to be informed if Archlinux is the best!, change the page title, change buttons, change links, fill inputs, change links and change the page.
There is a Archlinux is the best! pagerank system, with an icon showing information about the current Archlinux is the best! status of the page, who can of course improved with the menu x].
Here is a screen : http://pix.nofrag.com/3/e/6/1dfaaf85d7b … ae5dat.jpg
Xpi is simply a zip if you wants to see the code source, thanks to kezar for his support and sorry for my English
(It's amazing what we can do a Sunday night )

I'm using Firefox 3.03 and I can't install it. It says
"Archisthebest" will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates

This is a most-unfortunate compatibility issue; I hope the bugs get ironed out.

What if there's only one /dev/null universe? They'd be fuxoring themselves.

Even if there's more than one, what if it's a loop? You could be sitting at your computer one day, minding your own business, when suddenly all your old shell scripts hit you square in the back of the head.
I think I'll install a rear view mirror on my monitor, just in case...

When you gaze long into /dev/null, /dev/null gazes also into you.
Arch should be your shield against whatever lurks in /dev/null - 'cause it's simply the best.

I'm gonna have to fork this I'm providing both a GUI and a CLI version.
CLI:
#!/bin/sh
cowsay Arch is the Best!
GUI:
#!/bin/sh
xcowsay Arch is the Best!
The GUI version requires xcowsay from the AUR, and the CLI version requires cowsay from [extra]

I am not satisfied with the stability of this. I have therefore made a new script (currently in v0.3) that will keep archisthebest running even if your pc crashes.
I'm sorry, but I'm not releasing the code for this one as I have a feeling this crashproof programming language might make me some dosh.

What font is that? Can I get your desktop?

I can't tell for sure from the screenshot, but my guess would be, "irl-sharpie-byhand-fine". It isn't available in the repos, he probably hand made it himself. I also like your window decorations around the arch is the best app. How did you get those shadows?!

I like this approach. I'm using it on my desktop right now. My font isn't as nice as yours but it will do.
Have any idea about how I could make it transparent ? I really like looking at my wallpaper below.

Ported to FF, a very simplistic language I designed for my compilers class. Use this page to compile to C, if you can be bothered.
str response;
int fail;

while fail == 1 do
write "\nDo you agree that Arch is the best? [y/n] ";
read response;
if response == "y" do
fail = 0;
writeln "\nDamn straight Arch is the best! ^____^\n";
od;
unless response == "y" do
writeln "\nYou, sir, fail. HARD. O.o\nLet's try this one more time...";

I've been inspired to create a multi-language Ruby version of this script, as I do not believe one exists.
puts "Pick a language (or type quit to quit):"
%w(english chinese german greek dutch italian australian norwegian swedish 4chan valley portuguese lol russian).each do |i|
puts i.capitalize
end
lang = gets.chomp.downcase
case lang
when "english"
puts "Arch is the best!"
when "chinese"
puts "Write it in Chinese!"
when "german"
puts "Arch ist das beste!"
when "greek"
puts "Το Arch είναι το καλύτερο!"
when "dutch"
puts "Arch is de beste!"
when "italian"
puts "Arch e la migliore!"
when "australian"
puts "Arch, you little ripper! Mate, that's fully sick, tops!"
when "norwegian"
puts "Arch er best!"
when "swedish"
puts "Arch är bäst!"
when "4chan"
puts "i liek arch, eh is a pretty cool guy! eh has kiss method"
puts "and doesn't afraid of anything!"
when "valley"
puts "Arch's not the best!? As if, I'm so sure!"
when "portuguese"
puts "Arch Linux é o melhor!"
when "lol"
puts "lulz, n00b - arch is teh pwnz0r"
when "russian"
puts "Арч лучший!"
when "quit"
puts "May the Arch be with you."
exit
else
puts "Unknown language \"#{lang}\""
end
and if that one is too large and/or multi-featured for you:
puts "Arch is best!"

Due to lack of development interest (it's been 5 hours, and we haven't had a single patch), and in the interest of providing rolling releases whenever possible - I am taking over management of the "Arch is the best!" Python fork.
Project Home: http://vminch.googlepages.com/archisthebest!
Submit patches to either vminch@gmail.com, or just right here.
*Major releases will be submitted (to this thread).

What do you guys think about a live cd? I mean, everbody should try this in a safe environment without harming his carefully optimized windows installation, so a live cd is a must in my eyes...maybe we can think about an multi-language graphical installer with some eye candy?
