i'm using compiz-fusion with latest nVIDIA drivers (7950 GT)
window resizing is just unbearably slow...
i realise that problem has been there for a while (read some articles about it...) yet sure there isn't some solution?
Such as... on some systems the thing works ok more or less so far i understood ...
Currently i set the option for window resizing in gettings manager to Outline instead of Normal, at least it's functional now.

Works fine for me on my 8600gt probably around the same speed of card. Using Nvidia 177.80. I havent changed any rendering options in compiz, but I have seen that some people need to turn off Indirect Rendering or something like that. IIRC it was on the Fusion Icon menu, however I dont use that so I cannot really comment.
Could be the Force Indipendant Painting Output option on the General tab in compiz config?

indirect rendering was off by default
with Force Indipendant Painting Output i notice no change so far...

Could try turning Indirect rendering on then I guess. Possible an older driver like 173.xx could help. Just taking shots in the dark Im not really sure whats gone wrong there sorry
