Need help with LXDE bling bling

I'd like to customise my LXDE install but I can't see where the panel icons are located for the start menu.  Can anyone give me a path and filename for where I configure the Start Menu icon (the default 'monitor' is a bit dull)?

In the file 
~/.config/lxpanel/LXDE/panels/panel       

The start menu icon is defined here:

Plugin {
    type = menu
    Config {
        image=/usr/share/lxpanel/images/my-computer.png

The image is sourced from the directory
/usr/share/lxpanel/images/

So place your preferred icon in that directory and edit the config file to point to it
