Do I have something wrong in here that might be the problem of my laptop not being able to boot up while on battery power?

new kernel added 2.6.28-rc2-zenmm1 -- herro prease -- reiser4 is broken in mm at the moment -- so do not even try to use it if you are using reiser4

venky -- zen-sources.org -- you can check gitweb as well if you are familiar with code -- git.zen-sources.org -- i cannot delineate all of the things we do in there now -- i'm very busy this week -- maybe if you are still wondering later on i can delineate them all and post on zen-sources.org

Seems like the offical nvidia driver does not work with the latest zenmm kernel. At least I am unable to install it.
The installer says unable to determine kernel version and:
If you are using a Linux 2.6 kernel, please make sure
you have configured kernel sources matching your kernel
installed on your system. If you specified a separate
output directory using either the "KBUILD_OUTPUT" or
the "O" KBUILD parameter, make sure to specify this
directory with the SYSOUT environment variable or with
the equivalent nvidia-installer command line option.
Depending on where and how the kernel sources (or the
kernel headers) were installed, you may need to specify
their location with the SYSSRC environment variable or
the equivalent nvidia-installer command line option.

I don't get what you mean... do you have a problem or are you just stating something?

That is from my 2.6.27-zen2hotfix1.
Anyway, I figured out that I could just press "enter" a bunch of times when it freezes during the "boot up" and "shut down" processes when using the battery power.
Someone else with a HP Pavilion dv9920us had the exact same problem with the -ARCH stock kernel, and they told me to try to "press enter" a bunch of times and it worked.
I don't consider this a proper fix, but at least I can use the 2.6.27 kernel versions now instead of staying with the old 2.6.26.
I'll probably make this Linux Kernel 2.6.27-zen3-hotfix1 next: http://zen-sources.org/
*****EDIT: I have built the 2.6.27-zen3-hotfix1 and it has the same issue again..... pressing enter a bunch of times still seems to work.*****
